Hotels Maurice Hurand are pleased to present the Paris Motor Show, which is held every other year (even numbered years) in October at the Parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.

With more than 70 world premieres presented in 2006, the Motor Show beat its own record for new cars exhibited to the public. 2008 is also looking like a good crop, with many world premieres planned by the manufacturers. Moreover, some manufacturers, such as Infiniti and Fiat Abarth, will be exhibiting in Paris for the first time, while others such as Matra and Lotus will be coming back to the Motor Show.

Concept cars, hybrid cars, biofuels, electric cars – a wide, diverse range of vehicles will be presented to the Show’s visitors who are curious to discover the vehicles of tomorrow and those that respect the environment.

So far, more than 300 makes from 23 countries have signed up for the Show and nearly 80,000 sq m of floor space have already been booked. These figures are up from 2006, with an additional hall for passenger cars.

A “Prestige Centre” area in hall 5/1 will present some ten makes among the most luxurious in the automobile sector. These dream cars, brought together in the same hall for the first time at the Paris Motor Show, will give visitors a preview of the latest trends in the world of automobile haute couture.
