Growth that continues: in 1985, with the acquisition of the Hotel Madison, an iconic address in Saint Germain des Prés, the Group embarked on a growth trajectory that continues to this day.
In 1991, the Hurand family acquired the Hotel Bourgogne & Montana, formerly a private mansion dating from 1791, occupying a prime position opposite the National Assembly.
In 1994, Jean-Max Hurand's daughter Christine and her husband, Jean-Luc Binet, took over the family business. They became the 4th generation of the family to take the by now almost a century old business forward into the future.
In 2004, the Artus Hotel became part of the Group, followed by the Hotel de Buci in 2006. Both on Rue de Buci, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, they represent a new kind of hotel.
The Hotels Maurice Hurand Collection was formed in 2005 to operate the hotel portfolio and develop synergies between the different but wholly Parisian establishments acquired over the years.
